Sewer Overflow and Stormwater Reuse Municipal Grants

This program awards grants to states, which will then award grants to municipal entities for critical stormwater infrastructure projects. IIJA amends the program to include notification systems as an eligible project and creates set-aside funding for projects in rural or financially distressed communities.

Indian Reservation Drinking Water Program

This program provides grants for 20 eligible projects in the Upper Missouri River Basin and Upper Rio Grande River Basin to improve water quality, pressure, or services. IIJA modifies the program to require that 50% of funds are used nationally and 50% are for 50 projects equally divided between the Missouri River Basin, Upper Rio Grande River Basin, Columbia River Basin, Lower Colorado River Basin, and Arkansas-White-Red-River Basin.

Lead Contamination in School Drinking Water Program
