FHWA Administrative Expenses

Of the funds allocated for FHWA administrative expenses under the FAST Act, a proportion is designated for this program, which allows the Secretary to fund the Internal Revenue Service, states, and other federal agencies to execute intergovernmental enforcement, training, and research efforts to reduce evasion of highway use taxes.
