Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA) Reauthorization

IIJA reauthorizes the Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA), which accelerates investment in national water infrastructure with long-term, low-cost supplemental loans for regionally and nationally significant projects. IIJA additionally requires the EPA to develop an outreach plan to promote the program to small and rural communities.
