Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program

This program provides grants to eligible entities to implement strategies to reduce fossil fuel emissions and total energy use and improve efficiency in the transportation, building, and other sectors. IIJA also allows its funding to be used for programs that finance energy efficiency and other clean energy capital investments, projects, loan programs, and performance contracting programs.
