Federal Lands and Tribal Transportation Programs

This includes other Federal Lands Management Agencies which, under the Federal Lands Transportation Program (FLTP), may receive funding to improve its transportation infrastructure. IIJA increases FLTP funds used to improve public safety and reduce vehicle-caused wildlife mortality while maintaining habitat connectivity, and requires FLTP projects to consider using native plants and designs that minimize runoff and heat generation, among other changes.
