Mineral Security

This is a program under Section 7002(g) of the Energy Act of 2020 that seeks to develop alternatives to critical materials that: don’t occur in abundance in the U.S.; promote the efficient production, use, and recycling of critical materials; and ensure its long-term, secure, and sustainable supply, among other goals.
